Requirements In selecting persons for appointment as members of an IMB the Secretary of State will require the following skills and attributes;
Applications are welcomed from all sections of the community irrespective of their religious belief, gender, disability, race, political opinion, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or whether or not they have dependants. These are unpaid voluntary positions although all travelling expenses will be paid at the standard government rate. Due to the location of the prison establishments access to a form of transport is desirable. It may be necessary to prepare a shortlist from the list of eligible applicants.
